L’HOMME ROUGE started as an unde ned project, a gathering of people with a con uent passion for design, society and art. Over time, unwrapping from it’s cocoon this project transcended into hav- ing a far deeper purpose. L’HOMME ROUGE, the red man, is a re- minder to live life and do so to the fullest.

The Autumn/Winter collection 2017 is L’HOMME ROUGE:s ninth col- lection.

L’HOMME ROUGE started in the well renowned university city of Lund in Sweden. Currently the brand is being re-located from Gothenburg to Stockholm. During 2015 and 2016 L’HOMME ROUGE have been estalished as the new star brand in Swedish menswear. In Scandina- via L’HOMME ROUGE have about 40 retail points, including the big- ger department stores and chains such as NK, Åhléns, VOLT, Aplace and so on. For SS17 and AW17 the brand has been showing during Stockholm Fashion Week with good reviews from Swedish press and international such as Vogue and GQ (Attached press deck).

AW17, Stompers is inspired by an alienated group of young Swedish harbour workers. In a time of rebellion this group of social outcasts created a voice for themselves through provocative expression of re- worked luxury clothing they found in misplaced shipping containers. These shameless expression and the group’s do it yourself mentality inspired a whole generation to break free and manifest their discon- tent.

The collection Stompers present a variation of tartan checks, safety pins, glossy galloons and metal chains. What is really luxury and fake and what is expensive or cheap...
