FENDI collaborates with MoonStar, the Japanese cult brand of vulcanized shoes for its Spring/Summer 2020 Men’s Collection where Silvia Venturini Fendi brings the FENDI Man en plein air, out of the virtual space and of the overwhelming immateriality that is so pervasive in the life of today.

Echoing the overall gardening mood, high-tops and trainers in canvas and rubber have been developed with the Japanese niche brand, featuring the Maison’s iconic FF logo and the logo non logo Pequin striped motif.

The interesting vulcanized technique, that derives from Vulcan the Roman god of fire, consists in a heating process through which the natural rubber is transformed into a more durable, resistant rubber and is bonded with external materials avoiding any type of glue, all skillfully hand-made.

The colors are very earthy and authentic, spacing from black to brown, military green and ivory combined with interesting contrasts or tone on tone versions.
